Easter weekend

The Cleverlys needed some warm weather so they made plans to fly down for their Easter/Spring Break.  The Ricks didn't want to be left out so they drove down too. We all squeezed into our house and had a great long weekend together!

Seeing the sites

Tyrone’s parents have mentioned wanting to visit the National Museum of African American History and Culture since they moved here just before Covid. Since every thing is mostly back to normal now I figured out a time to take them up during the girls spring break. You have to book tickets exactly one month in advance first thing in the morning.  The first day we went see all the monuments: Jefferson, Lincoln, Roosevelt, Martin Luther King Jr, Vietnam, The White House and the Washington Monument. We walked 9 miles and ate lots of frozen treats!

Fresh air, fresh hair

Hey! Pictures of me. I hike through the woods every week…. On this day with a day old hair cut from Ki Kreations. She’s the curly hair queen.  And I've got curly hair.

Keeping up

Blythe is playing soccer and having fun.

Taye’s spring break in Barcelona

Byron, Brennan and Taye have been good friends since high school.  (Taye and Brennan at junior prom here) And have kept up that friendship even at different universities. Brennan is in Barcelona on study abroad this semester and in a moment of inspiration the boys decided to go visit her for spring break.

High school swim

We went to the swim banquet this week. Scotia lettered for her freshman season of swim and was all conference academic. Plus a paper plate “legacy award” for being the little sister of Taye Brown. Can’t escape that!  I loved watching Scotia have so much fun with this group of kids!
