Taye went to prom this year.  It was such a fun process.  First he and a friend decided to go together. Then he had to go get fitted for a tux so it would arrive in time.  Then we purchased poster supplies and pesto so he could go to her lacrosse practice and invite her to prom with a proper proposal in front of all of her friends.  Then we had to order the prom tickets and order a corsage, and pick up the tux and pay for the group "party bus".  It was not a cheap event. In the end a nervous Taye looking super handsome in his tux met all his friends at the local golf course club house for pictures and then headed on the party bus for dinner, dancing and a serious after party at a friends house.  Was it worth all the hype Taye?  Yes!

Every year Scotia's school does this really fun fundraiser.  They get pledges and then run laps.  Perfect activity.  Tyrone and Blythe went to watch her while I went out for a relaxing lunch with friends.

Love this Taye smile Taye spent spring break in Greensboro, NC swimming at YMCA Short Course Nationals.  He's been training all year and this was the big moment. His 100 Fly was about the same, dropped a second in the 200 Free, 50 Free was the same (big disappointment) and dropped almost a second in the 100 Free (Breakthrough! Down into the 45's and 9th place finish in preliminaries, and 12th place in finals)  He also had a fantastic swim for the 400 medley relay prelims and got his team into the A Finals and an 8th place finish overall (a medal!) It’s getting warm and green. I love this time of year. Walking past the dam a few times a week. Love to watch the changes. Cutie on her scooter! So happy! Easter Egg hunt at greenway club. Spring flowers- I love all of them. Taye and AJ working on Prom Proposals.
