Five Brown Kids

 In addition to Thanksgiving the Browns did lots of other activities.  Visited Tyrone's renovated place I could only convince Jordan and Blythe to go on a hike with me - we had a great time. Decorated gingerbread houses Movies - one for little kids, one for big kids Turkey bowl football Pizza, hot tub and s'mores at our house

Tyrone's sisters and their families were in town for Thanksgiving.  They did lots of fun things: bowling,  movie night, ginger bread house building, flag football - which gave me lots of quiet time. Win, win! I did join them for Thanksgiving dinner. Yum!

Taye hanging out with college friends  Blythe has horse riding lessons once a week, and volunteers with grooming or feeding or being a teachers assistant once a week. Learning so many new skills and being very responsible. I loved this moment because Cisco had been out in the field during a rainy day and was wet and dirty.  After she was done grooming him I heard Blythe whisper to him, "There, I made you look fabulous again." Still hiking on the MST trail and walking on the greenway all the time.  It's my favorite.  My fiddle leaf fig is so happy.  Derick had been driving a very old car from the Ricks and it was so unreliable and costing a lot in repairs so we bought a new-to-him car.  Ahhh... no more frantic phone calls!  More horse riding. Watching her put saddles and reins on by herself is so impressive.  Working out with Taye Taye just got into an accelerated nursing program starting Jan 2 on the opposite side of the country.  We are work...

At the last minute I was invited to crash Courtney's beach trip with work friends after someone canceled.  We stayed at a condo in West Palm Beach, Florida.  So beautiful and warm.  I read an entire book.  I loved the sunsets and palm trees and seeing the crazy houses and yachts on billionaires row, and all the delicious food.  But my favorite part was kayaking down the waterway and seeing the houses/yards close up, and passing some crazy iguanas.   View from the condo.  Now I'm back and not going anywhere for a while because my time off balance is basically zero.  (How lucky am I that my best friend for the past 20 years has time and money on her hands to plan non-stop adventures!)
