Kindercamp

Blythe did a week of Kindercamp at the YMCA. A fun way to stay busy.

Last swim meet

Just cute pictures. Taye killed it as always. Looks amazing. Everyone wants to watch and cheer for him.  Little kids ask for his signature. Scotia is significantly improved this summer and ended up swimming on both A relays at the final meet. Blythe is doing great. No fear, and happy to hang out with big and little friends the whole meet.

Legacy Vertimax

Rob has been taking his basketball team to this vertimax training center for a long time. Jaxon’s been a few times too and loved the workouts.  When the company became available Rob jumped on it and dragged Tyrone with him. They updated the paint and flooring, replaced some equipment, hired some new trainers and a manager and had a grand opening on Saturday. Really fun and interesting and challenging for Tyrone to get some businesss/management experince.

Fourth of July

Tyrone’s parents sold their house in Utah and moved out here. They have a contract on a house and are staying with us until they move in. No complaints having an extra set of hands around.

Brown Family Video 2018

I finished one day before school let out.  Right on time! I was blown away working on this video the unbelievable quantity of activities that happened last year - I had to cut so much footage and yet the video is still ridiculosly long.  If I posted one basketball practice there were hundreds, if there is one swim practice shown, know they happened six days a week and sometimes twice a day, there were dozens and dozens of swim meets and basketball games, dance practices, cooking clubs, trips and so many friends over to visit. Dinners every night.  Twenty six visits to Costco and probably 56 to Target. Also, this might have been my most relaxing year since 2009?  Taye getting himself back and forth to swim every single day is a game changer.  Any other driving I might do for other kids feels like a vacation! Also, this should go without saying, but these are the highlights.  Plenty of lowlights, not included.
