Five Brown Kids

I've been working through my list of "things to get done before the baby arrives" and it seems to be never ending. Saturday morning we called "all hands on deck" for baseboard cleaning, floor scrubbing, rug shaking, dusting etc. I had to hire out the exterior window washing because Tyrone wouldn't let me dangle kids out the windows. (A down side to a hospital worker who sees worst case scenario for everything!)

Jaxon at the dinner table last night when we had two young LDS missionaries over for supper, "How did cavemen know how to make babies??" Suggestions?

Tyrone asked me what my favorite blog is. That's easy! I love mine best. Life mostly feels like a lot of cooking, cleaning and carpool, but when I scroll back through the highlights on the blog it sounds like a great life. I've printed it off twice in a big book. It's our record of life in the Brown house and I love it!

We finished a few months ago but I wanted to remember that Scotia and I read (I read, she listened) to the entire Laura and Mary series - from the Little House in the Big Woods all the way through the First Four Years. I read the first few to the boys when they were little - but not the whole series... Can't forget their faces when an Indian knocks on the door and when Pa is being chased by a panther... Loved them as a kid when my parents read to me, love them now reading to my kids.
