Lucketts with my girls

Another relaxing and fun girls weekend. Friday we checked out the Luckett's spring market and watched Emily do her thing working at Miss Mustard Seeds booth.  Saturday morning Courtney and I rented kayaks at the Keybridge boathouse and paddled down the Potomac (see the backside of the Lincoln Monument?). Such a fascinating way to see the city. I loved it. We ate at Malmaison (20 steps down from the boathouse) after kayaking and it was fabulous. Highly recommend.  A little shopping in the afternoon and then Cafe rio before the ride home.

Mothers Day

The girls made me breakfast in bed. Scotia is turning into a really competent cook. The omelette had zucchini, carrots and peppers which had been lightly sautéed. Super yummy!!

Cute kid

Hanging out the sunroof in the car waiting for Scotia to get dropped off.

Inaugural kayak adventure

I took my Christmas kayak out for a spin on the lake. It's so beautiful and peaceful and a great workout.

Easter

The day before Easter I took the girls to an epic Easter Egg Hunt at the Harris' house.  Thousands of eggs in a huge yard. It was super fun and suprisingly relaxing. The next morning Tyrone hid eggs for the kids and then they ran around finding them all.  Some of them had cash in them.  The big boys had as much fun as the girls I think.
