Five Brown Kids

  Jaxon's season highlights  are so good!  Totally worth a watch. 

That was a short and sad season. After their first game they missed the next two weeks of games after a positive test on the opposing team. There were only a handful of parents at each game. The season was super short and now they will miss playoffs because of another positive test.

 So I've been working for a little over a year now.  At this point almost 3/4 from the desk hiding in my bedroom.  

All the big kids are working!  Taye found a part time job at college to cover his food/gas/fun. Derick finally got a job at a sandwich shop- we’ve been trying all year (but he has background issues). Jaxon got a job at a pizza place working 10 hours on the weekend. And Scotia has saved $1000 babysitting for neighbors the past year.  We ordered pizza from Jaxon’s shop the other night and I got to spy on him working. I love to see my kids growing up and being independent. And I love that they all have their own spending money right now.  Sweet! 

I did a little painting in the living room. It’s so striking!
