Labor Day Weekend

We went to the lake house for labor day weekend. Scotia invited some old swim friends and they had a dreamy time riding around on the jet skis. They invented a game called hide and seek, jetting in and out of the little inlets. Blythe got a little banged up jumping off a bridge, flying off a jet ski and flying off a tube. Jaxon went golfing twice to hit a bucket of balls. On Sunday Mark and I woke up early and drove to Georgia for Sandra's 80th birthday surprise lunch. Family drove and flew from near and far.  She is loved.

Fourth of July

Spent the holiday at Fish Camp with 8 college kids and Blythe.  So much fun but I was exhausted when we got home.  A lot of cooking and cleaning.  I need a vacation from my vacation.

April Showers Bring May Flowers

Actually it has been super dry around here.  We finally had a real downpour over Memorial Day weekend and we couldn't even be sad about it, because we so desperately need it.  Taye moved to a new apartment (4 mins from his job!) He came home to grab some comfy couches and a dining table we had stored in the basement. Jaxon helped him move all his furniture downstairs from the old place and then up three flights of stairs to the new place. Blythe won an award at the end of year Horse Riding party.   High point over fences champion.  (This is not jumping) Scotia wrapped up her freshman year of college and moved back home for the summer.  She had a great year but was definitely ready for a little break from all the clubbing.  She ended the year with this styled photo shoot with her sorority.  For Mother's day weekend me and Scotia, Blythe and Jaxon and Mark and his boys all went up to the cabin.  We have jet skis!  The kids played pic...

March

A great month! Blythe and her friends did some volunteer work for Beta Club.  We took a whole truck load of furniture up to the lake house.  We celebrated Mark's birthday.  Blythe performed with her 6th grade dance elective class and it was so fun and energetic.  Jaxon, Blythe and I went up to the lake house for her spring break.  We did some yard work and kayaked.  Blythe and Mark went mountain biking.  Jaxon went to the golf course every day to hit a bucket of balls. Hannah and her mom came up one day and Blythe had the best day paddle boarding with Hannah and exploring the lake and we went to the club house for lunch and swimming in the pool.  Mark and I went for dinner at Green Valley Grill.   And also went to see a local production of Come From Away.
